If you’d like a little instruction before your maiden voyage, let one of our experienced staff provide you with the training and techniques you need, while having fun at the same time.
You can schedule a private, semi-private, small or large group lesson.
SUP is very quick and easy to learn and doesn't require more than 60 minutes to have you paddling with confidence. All lessons consist of one hour of instruction, both on land and on the water. We will teach you basic water safety for SUP, equipment knowledge, paddle strokes, & lake etiquette. We provide a stand up paddle board, paddle and personal flotation device. If you decide to purchase a board after a rental or lesson, we will apply the credit (up to $50) toward the purchase of your board.

The World Standup Paddleboard Association (www.wsupa.us) is the international umbrella organization which standardizes SUP events worldwide. The Association offers an "ASI SUP Instructor Course" where the instructor must demonstrate mastery in the following areas in order to graduate:
The Paddle Fit Certification is recognized by (ACE) American Council on Exercise and is a program where the instructor learns how to use SUP for group excerise classes as well as instruction for personal training.
Paddle Zen fitness instructors also have CPR/AED certifications and are looking forward to spreading the joy of SUP to you and your family.
